Edinburgh wedding car hire with Greyfriars Chauffeur is a little different from a vintage car. I offer a black Mercedes-Benz V-Class with seven leather seats — ideal for bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents or the couple themselves — driven by someone who understands that, on the day, timing and calm matter more than anything.
Edinburgh wedding car hire with a difference
Traditional wedding cars look beautiful but carry two or three people. The V-Class carries seven in comfort, so the whole bridal party can travel together, dresses and all, without anyone being left behind for a second run. The sliding doors and generous headroom make getting in and out in a gown far easier than in a saloon.
Many couples book the V-Class alongside a classic car: the classic for the bride, and the V-Class for the bridesmaids, the groom's party or close family.

The car is black with full leather interior, tinted rear windows and quiet, smooth air-conditioned comfort. It's cleaned and presented before every wedding, and ribbons can be fitted if you'd like them. See more photos on the fleet page.
Bridal party and guest transport
I can take the bridal party to the ceremony, bring the couple from the ceremony to the reception, and then shuttle guests between venues, hotels and the station. At the end of the night, I can take family or the newlyweds back to their hotel or to Edinburgh Airport (EDI) for the honeymoon.

Popular summer Saturdays book early, so get in touch as soon as you have a date. A few weeks before the wedding, I'll confirm the running order with you or your planner; the day before, I'll check traffic and any road closures.

I arrive early, help with luggage and drive you calmly there.
Booking is personal and straightforward. Send me the date, times, pickup and drop-off addresses and how many people are travelling — by phone, WhatsApp or the quote form. I'll reply with a fixed price, usually within the hour. Once you're happy, I confirm the booking in writing and message you the day before with the details. On the day, I arrive early in the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, help with luggage and drive you calmly to your destination. There are no meters, no booking fees and no surprises.
I'm a licensed chauffeur and PVG certified, the car is fully insured for hire, and all major cards are accepted. Because there is only one car and one driver, I can only take one booking at a time — so the earlier you get in touch, the better.
