Edinburgh Airport Transfers — Chauffeur-Driven Meet & Greet

Inside the Mercedes-Benz V-Class used for edinburgh airport transfers

Edinburgh Airport Transfers

Edinburgh Airport transfers with Greyfriars Chauffeur are simple: one friendly driver, one immaculate 7-seat Mercedes-Benz V-Class, and a fixed price agreed before you travel. Whether you are landing at EDI after a long-haul flight or heading off on holiday with the whole family, I make the journey calm, punctual and comfortable.

01

Edinburgh Airport transfers, done properly

Most airport transfers go wrong in small ways — a driver who isn't there when you land, a car too small for the cases, or a price that creeps up on the meter. I set up Greyfriars Chauffeur to fix those things. I.m a licensed chauffeur and PVG certified driver based in Edinburgh, and every booking comes straight to my mobile.

The car is a black Mercedes-Benz V-Class with seven leather seats and genuine luggage capacity for seven travellers. That means a family of five with suitcases, a golf group with clubs, or a business team with samples can all travel together in one vehicle rather than splitting across two cars.

I cover Edinburgh Airport (EDI) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to and from the city centre, the Lothians, Fife, Falkirk, Stirling, the Borders and beyond.

02

Arrivals: meet and greet with flight tracking

When you book an arrival, I track your flight in real time. If you land early, I'm already there; if you're delayed, I adjust automatically — you don't need to message me from the plane. I'll meet you inside the terminal in the arrivals hall with a name board, help with your bags and walk you to the car.

Your quoted price includes 60 minutes of free waiting from the time your flight actually lands, which covers passport control and baggage reclaim on even the busiest summer days. If something unusual happens, just WhatsApp me and I'll keep you updated.

Child seats can be arranged on request — mention the ages of any children when you book.

03

Departures: on-time drop-off at EDI

For departures, I'll recommend a pickup time based on your flight, the time of day and your starting point. As a rough guide, I aim to have you at the drop-off zone around two hours before a short-haul flight and three hours before long-haul. I'll message the evening before to confirm.

I arrive a few minutes early, load the luggage and get you to the terminal door. No car park charges, no shuttle buses and no worrying about your own car while you're away.

One car, one driver

The person you book with is the person who drives you.

04

Seven seats and real luggage space

The V-Class is the reason many customers book. Seven passengers sit in proper individual leather seats with space to stretch, and there's still room behind for cases. For larger groups, ask about the luggage you're bringing and I'll tell you honestly whether it fits — I'd rather say so than have you arrive to a squeeze. You can see the car on the fleet page.

05

Areas we cover for airport transfers

I collect from anywhere in Edinburgh and roughly a 50-mile radius, including Livingston, Falkirk, Dunfermline, Musselburgh, North Berwick, Stirling, Peebles and Kirkcaldy. Cross-airport transfers to Glasgow Airport and cruise ship transfers to and from Leith, Newhaven and South Queensferry are also available.

06

Book your transfer

Prices depend on the distance, the time of day and the number of passengers, so I quote each journey individually and fix the price before you book. Call, WhatsApp or send the quote form with your flight number and I'll come back to you quickly.

Booking is personal and straightforward. Send me the date, times, pickup and drop-off addresses and how many people are travelling — by phone, WhatsApp or the quote form. I'll reply with a fixed price, usually within the hour. Once you're happy, I confirm the booking in writing and message you the day before with the details. On the day, I arrive early in the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, help with luggage and drive you calmly to your destination. There are no meters, no booking fees and no surprises.

I'm a licensed chauffeur and PVG certified, the car is fully insured for hire, and all major cards are accepted. Because there is only one car and one driver, I can only take one booking at a time — so the earlier you get in touch, the better.
