Glencoe is the most dramatic glen in Scotland, and the route home through Rannoch Moor is unforgettable. We can stop at the viewpoints along the A82 for as long as you like.
Pitlochry & Highland Perthshire
Pitlochry is a classic Highland town with a salmon ladder, a riverside walk and two distilleries nearby. It makes a natural coffee stop on the A9 heading north.

A typical day (~11–12 hrs)
An early start takes us up the A9 through Pitlochry to Loch Ness, with lunch near the loch. We return via Fort William and Glencoe, arriving back in Edinburgh in the evening.
Shorter Highland day: Pitlochry & Dunkeld
If twelve hours feels too long, a seven-hour day to Dunkeld's cathedral and the Hermitage, then Pitlochry and Queen's View, gives you real Highland scenery without the distance.
